Will your favorite ski resort get snow this weekend? Here’s every major snow stake webcam in Colorado.

Skiers can get the latest snow report with a touch of a button on their phones these days, but nothing beats watching snow pile up on a traditional snow snake, which is why Colorado’s ski resorts keep them around — and film them with 24-hour webcams.

Some are plain, while others are decorated with art or boast high-tech measurement devices. Beaver Creek’s famously shows two six-inch chocolate cookies.

The problem? There hasn’t been much snow so far this year, so some of the snow stakes are looking more like dirt stakes.

But it’s supposed to snow this week — up to 20 inches in some areas — followed by more snow. Wanna watch? Here are links to the webcams at every major Colorado ski resort, and a few minor ones.
